The Cow Patty Pageant was held February 2, 2013!

We had a fabulous turn out on a foggy morning and enough water to float all the boats. So much in fact, it floated some boats right onto pasture land!

What is it?
A beautiful round trip paddle on the Scenic Estero Americano in Sonoma County to the Pacific Ocean and return. Approx. 11.5 miles total depending on conditions. Shorter 5 mile course for Novices and Families. Winners receive prizes and the coveted admiration of their fellow contestants. Awards Ceremony, Auction and Raffle will follow the race at Historic Dinucci’s Restaurant in Valley Ford.

Why should you come?
All ages and all paddle craft welcome! There will be prizes, food, fun, raffle, silent auction, and COWS!!!

DIRECTIONS:

From Petaluma, Go West 8+ miles on Bodega Ave., to Valley Ford Road (stay right) 9+ miles to Valley Ford, Ca. Go into Valley Ford, turn left at Dinucci’s. Continue 1 mile down Franklin School Road to the Estero Americano bridge. Turn left on Marsh Road. Unload and follow Parking instructions. Watch for Flooding on roads if raining.
